Mrs. Tavernier was born in Canada seventy-two years ago and was married to Mr. Tavernier fifty-two years ago, since which time the couple had made their home in this immediate neighborhood. She had a wide acquaintance and was known as a woman of many splendid traits of character. Surviving are her husband, four daughters and two sons, Mrs. Lewis Wood, of Chateaugay, Mrs. Frank Delargie [sic], of Chicopee, Mass., Mrs. Gertrude Bell, of Springfield, Mass., Mrs. Annie Amour, of Chateaugay, John Tavernier, of Burke, and William Tavernier, of Malone.
