Daniels passed away early Sunday morning [note 3 Dec 1954 was a Friday] at the family home in Coudersport. For a long time she had not been well but death came unexpectedly and as a shock to family members and friends. Flora M. Borst was born Oct. 25, 1868, at Gang Mills (Painted Post), N.Y. She was a daughter of Edward and Georgiana Taggart Borst. She was a graduate of Edinboro State Normal School and was a teacher for several years in Potter County. She became the bride of George W. Daniels, now one of the publishers of the Enterprise, at Whitesville, N.Y., March 28, 1898. The family had been resident here since 1902 with the exception of a few years spent in Kansas. Mrs. Daniels was a member of Park M.E. Church and the DAR, and for many years she was active in various clubs and women's organizations of the town. She was a woman beloved by all who knew her. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Joe E. Daniels of Riverton, N.J. and Mrs. James S. Berger, of Coudersport; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral service was held from the Hanley Funeral Home, Tuesday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock, with the Rev. Benton S. Swartz officiating. Internment was in Ulysses Cemetery. Pall beraers were Gerald Thomas, Walter Taylor, Frank Slamecka, Carl Lindahl, William Fish, Jr., and William Biesel.
