The Chateaugay Record, Friday, July 23, 1926 Ploof-Wood A pretty, mid-summer wedding took place at St. Partick's church on Monday morning, when Miss Celina Teresa Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wood, became the bride of Richard Ploof, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ploof. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tavernier, of Malone, sister of the bride. Mrs. Ploof wore peach colored crepe de chine with large hat to match and Mrs. Tavernier wore light blue with large hat to match. The bride carried white roses and the bridesmaid pink roses. After the ceremony breakfast was served to near relatives at the home of the bride and a dinner was served at 6 o'clock at the home of the groom. In the evening a reception was held at the home of the groom's brother where a large number of relatives and friends gathered. Best wishes are extended to the young couple for a happy wedded life. Mrs. Ploof has always resided at home. Mr. Ploof has been a resident of Chateaugay for the past four years, being employed in the paper mill. They will make their home at present with the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wood. | ||||
