Ezra was wounded and died at Hampron, VA, 1864
Died of wounds received in action. Born in Bingham Township (Potter County), Pa., Ezra Daniels was mustered into Co. F, 58th Pa. Vols. as a private on 3/29/62 for a three-year term of service. He was 21 years old , stood 6' 1"", had a light complexion, blue eyes, light hair and was a farmer at the time of his enlistment. He died at the U.S. General Hospital, Fortress Monroe, Hampton, Va. of typhoid fever and from a gun shot wound he received in his right hand in action on 9/29/64 at Fort Harrison, Va.
