Mr. Horrigan had been in poor health for the past two years and had suffered a great deal. He was born at Black Brook, New York sixty-five years ago and practically his whole life was spent in that immediate vicinity with the exception of a few years when he lived in Glens Falls, New York. He was a very kind man and was very much liked by all who knew him. He married Miss Elizabeth Bagan, who survived him, together with seven children, Edward and Raymond of Ware, Massachusetts, Bernard of Chicago, Illinois, Mrs. Frank A. Long, Mrs. J. W. Scott and the Misses Kate M. and Ruth Horrigan of Au Sable Forks, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Ryan of Franklin Falls, New York. The funeral was held at the Church of the Holy Name at 9 o'clock Saturday morning, August 4, 1923, Rev. C. A. Kitts officiating. The large number attending the mass and the beautiful floral offerings, showed to some extent the high esteem in which the deceased was held.
