1] 17 Sep 1807 - Lyman Bassett of the Town of Alford, County of Berkshire, MA, bought land of Henry I. Rensselaer in Hillsdale Twp., County of Columbia adjacent to the New York-Mass. line. Neighbour & witness was Thomas Boyce, Physician. Agreement dated 17 Sep 1807. Information provided by Mr. Walter V. Miller, historian of Columbia Co., NY, May 1968, to Florence C. Brown, sister of Maryann Griffith.
2] 07 May 1823 - Lyman Bassett of the Town of Hillsdale, etc., and Sally his wife etc. selling the land - Agreement dated 07 May 1823. Deed Book F Page 227. Information provided by Mr. Walter V. Miller, historian of Columbia Co., NY, May 1968, to Florence C. Brown, sister of Maryann Griffith. Copy in possession of Blair Conrad.
3] 06 Oct 1823 - letter from Yates Co. NY dated 15 Aug 1990 stating Lyman bought property in Barrington, Yates Co., NY from John Collin - Lyman was then a resident of Town six in the 1st range (Barrington). He purchased the north half of lot 66 for $750. This property was disposed of in the estate papers, with Benajah L. Bassett and wife Caroline B., then of Tyrone selling their share to Levi Perry Jr. (Husband of Benajah's sister Loisa) on 9 June 1842.
4] 25 Feb 1829 - Lyman sold land to Eliada Bassett - 1/8 interest in the Samuel Bassett farm (recorded in mother's Will - Book 63, Page 127)
