Page: p 228 Text: When 15 or 16 removed in 1660 to Hadley, Mass, with his parents. He made his home just across the Connecticut river, north in what was then Hadley but soon became Hatfield. He was a weaver. A loom made by him o f wood cut in Hatfield, kept in care of Ebenezer (3), Ephraim (4), Samuel (5), extorts this confession from Zebina (6). "The loom, although I a m sorry to say it, I cut up for fire wood in the town of Montague, Mass ., about one and one-half or two miles west of Lake Pleasant." Became freeman in 1690, was selectman 1695, 1697, 1700, and 1705; and in 1706 selectman and made deacon and was selectman 1708, 1709, 1711 and 1713. | ||||
