Martha McAnally From: Ancestry.com - Baker - Newman Family Tree Will of Martha McWilliam dated 25 Jan 1819 State of Tennessee, Hawkins County I, Martha McWilliams being in a low state of health, but of sound mins and perfect memory and calling to mind that is appointed once for all to die, do make, constitute and ordian the following to be my last will and testament. And first and principally I bequeath and commend ny soul into the hand of my gracious God who gave it to me and my body to a decent Christian burial in a full and certain hope of the Resurrection of the same. Second, for sundry good causes moving me thereunto it is hereby declared to be mylast will and I do appoint my well beloved brother John McAnally my soul heir in law and equity, to all and singular mylive stock or every description, my household and kitchen furniture with all goods and chattels I may die possessed of, and after my said brother John shall have paid the expenses of my funeral out of the same, the remainder shall be to and for his own use, except for one bed and furniture and one trunk which for special reasons I hereby leave and bequeath to my beloved neice Elizabeth McAnally(daughter of aforesaid brother). Third, wheras by the will of my late husband, Jesse McWilliams, I have a sum of money willed to me which may be seen by a reference had to said will. Now I hereby declare it to be my last will that as soon as the aforesaid money is collected that my said brother John shall pay or cause to be paid put of the same all myjust debts likewise shall pay or give to my beloved sister Sally Burns the sum of twenty dollars and the remainder of said money left me by my late husbands will, with all other money or property that I may have had at my decease not otherwise herein disposed of I leave and bequeath to my aforesaid brother John McAnally to hisown use and behalf and for no other purpose whatsoever.
