Humphrey de Bohun married, as her second husband, Elizabeth, daughter of Edward I, and was one of the richest and most powerful men in England. He was with the king at Carlaverock in 1300, captured the Bruce’s wife in 1306 at Kildrummie, and was himself captured in 1314 at Bannockburn.
